As if things couldn't get any worse for the easygoing Ames Stoddard's agent is killed while taking possession of his property making Ted the prime suspect. Authorities discover the Black Aces' calling card on the dead man's body and immediately figure Ames for a member of the murderous gang. With nowhere to turn and a posse on his trail his only hope is to uncover the true identities of The Black Aces and expose the men who framed him. Buck Jones one of the best-loved cowboy stars came from a background of wild west shows and circus performances before beginning a successful career in Hollywood westerns. He teamed up with Tim McCoy and Raymond Hatton for the popular Rough Riders series of the early 1940s.
